2018 Chevrolet Silverado LT Customer brought their truck to me, started losing power and rough idling. After running a scan of the vehicle I found a misfire on cylinder 1. I just installed this mini split for “Cindi’s custom Covers in Cornelia “. This is inside an ulpostery shop where a smaller floor model just wasn’t cooling enough, this took care of the problem. Customer brought their 2001 Georgetown ForestRiver 36 ft. long RV to me to install an airlift suspension on it. I installed the airlift 5000 with the wireless one on board tank. I also installed airline hose that can be easily accessed for airing up tires, blower nozzle for cleaning, and several different fittings for blowing up floats etc. Customer was having issues with the RV bottoming out in the rear as she tried going up her driveway, this airlift system will eliminate any bottoming out. Customer had issues with water coming in along the foundation wall. I removed all the old caulking that was cracked and torn and resealed everything. I applied mortar leaving a nice taper away from the foundation so no water sits against the house. On the front side of the house one of the facial boards was completely rotted out so I replaced with a new piece and then primed and painted to match existing. I caretake and do all the maintenance for a lot of customers who own these Airbnb’s. This particular customer here had me come out to clean the gutters and take down a starlink dish that was not working out for them due to many tall trees blocking the signal. I cleaned the gutters and cleaned out all the downspouts but I also washed the roof while I was up there. The customer had drove up from Atlanta while I was just finishing up and they loved it! Customer with an Airbnb had me come out to add some lighting and fix several things. Some previous additions consisted of cords being ran along the ceilings and walls, I told the customer I could add some new lighting and hide most of my electrical wiring. I installed 2 light/fan combos in the upstairs loft with a switch. The only lighting previously was a lamp by the beds. I installed 2 lights in the kitchen area that really lit the kitchen up and that’s what we were aiming for here while keeping a neat and professional look. While pulling wire for a track light to be installed over the tv, I told the customer I would go ahead and add an outlet for the tv while I was already in the wall. I was able to help the customer out by getting rid of the extension cord powering the tv. I installed the track light and a dimmer switch to control the light settings. I installed 2 lights in her bedroom on a switch that really made it more convenient for the customer while brightening the room. She had a light hanging over the shower in the loft area that had the cord exposed , I ran the wiring through the wall to hide it being in plain sight. I was able to conceal most of the wiring and any that remained out in the opening I installed inside black cable trays. The customer was extremely pleased with my work and effort that went into making sure the wiring was hidden. She expressed great gratitude in the extra tv outlet I added for her! I have 10 pressure washing jobs on the books right now, I really wanted to at least get 5 of them done today but that did not happen. 2 of the pressure washing jobs were on the farm where I manage the property in white county. I am prepping the bridge to be stained and the gate and fencing to be stained and painted. The automatic gate opener I installed last year has been knocked down by someone so I will be back tomorrow to weld the post and make the repairs needed to fix it. Once I finish prepping the bridge and fence. The rails will be getting a dark semi-solid stain with black stain on the posts. I will be painting the gate with a gloss black oil base paint to really make it stand out. I’m doing a lot of upgrades around the farm but these 2 here will really bring the beauty back. I’ve had several service calls today with leaking roofs. This particular customer had a leak on their skylight over the kitchen area. After inspecting the skylight I found an open gap underneath that was allowing the rain to run in and stain the ceiling of the kitchen. I made the repairs and sealed everything up. Customer brought their Jeep Wrangler to me and said they had a couple of loud noises coming from underneath while taking off and driving. I test drove the vehicle and found that one noise was coming from the rear and a separate noise was coming from the front. After completing my inspection I found that the sway bar was out of alignment. I checked the bushings and found that one of the bushing brackets had a broken bolt off down into the frame. I welded a nut on top of the broken bolt and filled it in with weld to create a way for me to remove the bolt. Made the repair with proper alignment of the sway bar and torqued everything to spec. Upon my inspection of the rear noise I found that the heat shield was laying on top of the muffler. I installed the heat shield and put new washers on to hold the shield in place. After making the correct repairs, all noises were eliminated. This customer only lets me work on his vehicles and is always happy with my work. Customer had a major oil leak problem on this 2001 Toyota Camry. Oil was being slung around the belts and engine bay causing a mess. I replaced the valve cover gasket with new seals. The check ball inside the pcv valve was also covered with oil sludge and was not allowing proper air flow throughout the engine so I replaced with a new one. Customer is happy that the leaks are fixed and car is idling much better now with the new pcv valve. Customer is wanting me to come back next week and degrease the engine and bay to clean up all the oil. Had a service call in mountain city where a customer had issues with her toilet not flushing and backing up. After running the sewer machine to no avail I found that the septic tank entrance had roots all in it. The pipe had not been sealed to the tank and roots had grown all through it. I replaced it with new pipe and added a clean out for any future issues with roots or blockages. Oh crap, I totally forgot I’m not supposed to post any pictures of work until I’m completely finished, apparently that’s some law. Anyways, I’ll cover it up and wait a few weeks until the grass I plant turns green and then post more photos. Please be easy on me and I hope posting my work ahead of time here doesn’t affect my schedule that’s currently booked up to October.
